我在怀旧，在看四年前和N年前的没缘看到的电影。这次心水推荐：香草天空和潘的迷宫。

 

香草天空

不要被甜腻的名字骗了，比起爱情，它讲述的是如何不逃避生活本身。再说，剧情复杂前卫得很有科幻元素。眼泪统计：眼红了三次，绝对是赚泪水大片。

喜欢：COLD PLAY的歌，几年后重新听，想到初二弱智智的样子。

喜欢：PENELOPE贯穿全剧的话：“OPEN YOUR EYES。”略带沙哑，女人香，西班牙语口音，酥到骨子里。

喜欢：PENELOPE最近因为巴塞罗那和这部东东正式成为我极品女人榜上第二名。温暖的眼神，性感的颧骨，蜜糖色的皮肤，大得像梦的笑容，巨赞的演技。我的女人啊～～

喜欢：TOM CRUISE毁容的样子比他原来的样子更惊魂动魄。比起他本人，他的面具更有表现力。象牙白色，微微下弯的嘴角和眼角，在人潮汹涌的CLUB里一直朝着天的方向，游动在人上。

喜欢：剧情，剧情设计得太完美了。爱情，科幻，心理学，恰当的背景音乐，等等。

喜欢：张驰有度，好久没看过节奏拿捏得这么好的电影了。

喜欢：很多很多经典的对话，可以做摘抄了。

香草的粉红色的天空下，DAVID对从来不曾存在的爱人说：“Look at us. I'm frozen and you're dead. And I love you."

 

潘的迷宫

如果香草天空给五分的话，这部只有三分了，不过还是值得一看的电影。眼泪统计：眼红了一次，起码眼红了嘛。它获奖的那届奥斯卡出了不少好电影。BM很多人喜欢的LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE，英语老师RORY推荐的THE LIVES OF THE OTHERS，被人评论滥的AN INCOVENIENT TRUTH，个人巨讨厌其女主演的MARIE ANTOINETTE，经济老师MARK喜欢的HAPPY FEET（汗……想想JASON STATHEM喜欢小企鹅的样子），男主角很MAN的LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA……（以上电影全推荐）。然后呢，潘的迷宫貌似拿了第二多的提名，牛。

其实电影主题很直接明了的说。不过跟香草天空一样，以为它是魔幻片，那你就错了。比起魔幻它更像抗战片。一个小女孩与残酷的统治军抗争，被地下的鬼神引导，最后献身……算了，我最不会概括剧情了，大家还是自己看电影本身吧。

最喜欢的是里面提到的传说和巫术。其中有一个是曼陀罗花的根渴望成为人类婴孩，又丑又胖，却在手掌终颤抖怪叫。还有就是女主角的前身，冥界的小公主，因为不耐寂寞爬梯子来到人间，被太阳一晒，失去了地底所有的记忆，但最终魂魄还是返回了国王皇后的身边。（其实如果我是她能不跟阳光打交道，我乐还来不及呢……）。有很多西班牙地区的神话，增长知识。而且不愧为获得最佳化妆奖的电影，里面的鬼神们长得别提有多难看了。其中的“大佬”，高大嶙峋的骨架上盖了一层苍白的皮（别联想到画皮，那部小垃圾），手指又粗又长，透着血色，掌心是两只巨大的血红眼睛，而脸上只有翻出来的鼻孔和突出的犬牙，下巴的皮刁吊的，丑得无与伦比。我的MUSE啊！电影里没说它的名字，目前我在查询中。其实不光是极致丑陋的鬼神们，电影本身也具有震撼性的。比如统治军的将领是小变态一个，喜欢出其不意地用刀捅人或对着尸体浪费上六七颗子弹，后来就被游击队的卧底用小刀把嘴一刮刮成蝙蝠侠里JOKER的样子，动作特利落。

其实看点真的不多，但影片那种灰暗潮湿的拍摄色调给人的感觉是，不如归去。现实如此残酷，何如地下。虽然丑恶，黑暗中自在歌舞，平安千年。嗯，非常有我归隐风格的片子。

 

随便说说其他看到的电影。

星尘：BIG NO NO。

墨水心：剧情太闷。

ENCHANTED：弱智但好看片一部。影片到后来还是说明了一些道理的。如果想傻笑两小时的话不妨选这部。

纳尼亚2：它的电影从来没比书好过。

 

唉，我不要怀旧，能不能给我看点一年内的好电影，注意重点是好电影。

A self-explanatory list on the differences between my 2nd high scool and my college.

 

On height:

St. CLare's: "I'm almost the shortest in the school..."

BM:"Wow, there ARE non-asians who are actually shorter than me, and a lot..."

 

On width:

St Clare's:"God...their (70% of the girls) legs are as half as slim as mine..."

BM:"God...their(30% of the girls) waists are as thrice as wide as mine..."

 

On alcohol:

St Clare's: "A pin of Guiness after class? Not again...how about mojito?"

BM:"...Do I have to go as far as to Swarthmore to drink 99% fruit juice mixed with 1% vodka?"

 

On daily activities:

St Clare's: "I've watched all the films that I can find...what should I do today?"

BM:"Library, Gym, Class, Library, Dinning hall, Gym, Class, Library...Bed."

 

On beauty:

St Clare's: "what a pleasure just watching these socialites around the world. And cute guys sitting next to and across me."

BM:"Hmm...100 cases of fashion disasters every day on average."

 

On party:

St Clare's: cameras, gorgeous people, delicate dresses, pretty makeups, amazing clubs in Oxford.

BM: no cameras, almost no gorgeous people, trashy t-shirts, no makeups, 40min ride to Swarthmore...

 

On volunteering and working:

St Clare's: (One of my friends) "How dare she asked me to clean the shop! So I quit!"

BM: you know, dish room, warm peanut butter, sinks piled with oily pans, digging dirt, etc...

 

On travelling:

St Clare's: flying back to Germany and Italy for weekends, Euro tours every holiday, been to every continent in the world.

BM: "I've never been outside of the States..."

 

On diet:

St Clare's: super skinny girls eating only lettuce and fruits.

BM: "I've seen her eating waffles with cream cheese and jam and peanut butter and cream and strawberry and honey for breakfast for a week..."

 

On guys:

St Clare's: Abundunce and high quality.

BM: Drunk and not-exactly-cute guys at Swat, nerds at Haver, too-old postbacs at Bryn Mawr, lame professors, that's all. And the obligation of being single for three years.

 

On talking abut grades:

St Clare's: (coversation all over the school) "42." "41." "40.""35." "28."...(We enjoyed those conversations generally.)

BM: "...jesus, it's driving me crazy guessing my peers' grades. Fxxxxxx Honor Code."

 

On professors:

St Clare's: Simon, Kevin, Mark, Ian...I miss you guys so much!

BM: "...It's not like I actually stay awake in class after all. So no comments on professors."

 

On homework:

St Clare's: "When's the last time I sat down and wrote them? Don't quite remember..."

BM: one word: never-ending.

 

On residence:

St Clare's: room cleaning service everyday, showers with DOORS, comfortable beds.

BM: big and gloomy rooms, showers without DOORS, beds that I hate lying on.

 

On fragrance:

St Clare's: Anna Sui's baby dolls, Lancome's Tresor, J'adore, Pink, 5th Avenue...

BM: smell of supermarket deoderant, or the weird smell in the absence of the deoderant...ouch.

 

On natural surrounding:

St Clare's: the most beautiful spring I've ever seen. And wild berries to pick in the fall.

BM: cherry blossoms, trees, red trees, snow, nothingness. and all that sunshine I hate!

 

On the site:

St Clare's: Situated in the wealthiest area of Oxford, what more can I comment on?

BM: It's not like BM's in the middle of nowhere, it's just we never have time to explore.

 

On my mood:

St Clare's: Though wonderful, I'm not sure it's the place I belong to.

BM: almost certian it's not the place I belong to either...
